• Wingspan : 60-70mm
• Colour : UP dark brown with greenish discal band on both the wings which is curved towards the apical spots on the FW.
• Habit : Insect of hilly regions, flies between 300mt to 2100m in May, June, Aug. and Nov. Could easily be mistaken for a Common Blue Bottle. Strong and swift flier. Often seen on forest paths.
• Larval Host Plants : Populus spp. Salix spp.
